Medicare Part D Explained

Medicare Part D covers medication coverage for Medicare Eligible Recipients.  None of the Medicare Supplement Plans include MEDICATION coverage.  Medicare part D Prescription Drug Plans are government managed plans sold by Private Insurance Companies. Choosing the right plan can be a challenge because each plan offers DIFFERENT medications on their Drug List.

Each Drug Plans Formulary List (Drug List) can change throughout the year,  so Medicare Recipients should re-evaluate their Plans to make sure that there isn’t a better Plan available. Cost and change in the Formulary List can make a big difference for Seniors that are on a fixed income.  Medicare Part D permits this change of Plans to take place November 15th through December 31st.  Here at CMS we are more than HAPPY to give you a FREE Part D Analysis!
